Copper Acorn

The changing tides of Autumn come dancing in strong and fast to make way for the cold winter ahead. The season of deep transformation and letting go. Autumn reminds us how beautiful it is to let things go, and to make space for a new rebirth to come. Within the falling of the leaves, seeds come falling back to the Earth as well, a promise of growth potential through the hard winter and the coming spring. The energy is being pulled back to the center of the Earth, where the sun will once again be reborn on the Winter Solstice.

Isn't amazing how a single acorn holds all the strength and potential to become the Mighty Oak?! Acorns have long been used as good luck charms and talismans. During the burning times it was common to give acorns as gifts to tell someone you were in fact a witch. Today it is still a traditional Autumn and Samhain celebration gift to give.
